Hima, the Undead Monk

A redesign of a character that I didn't feel totally satisfied with. This feels MUCH more cohesive than before :))

Hima's concept was that she was a monk who has the ability to absorb demons and imprison them in her body. However, if she absorbed too many at once, they would rampage inside of her and cause damage. Hima's death was caused by absorbing an incredibly powerful demon to save her fellow monks and had them seal her in an enchanted tomb. She sacrificed herself so that the demon would have no chance of escaping her... or so she thought.
Centuries later, the demon found an opportunity and fled it's prison. Thanks to the demon influence in her body, Hima resurrected with the control of the demons she still has imprisoned and hunts the demon that escaped her.

My influences were buddhist monks, shinto priests and priestesses, and traveling monks.
